Hope you like the new look 'cause it's here to stay, at least for a while. The original website pulled in over 125,000 hits and well over 1,000,000 page views since its launch in March '05. We haven't updated for a while now and thought it was time for a new look to go along with some fresh content. We now have 1.5 Terabytes of usable server space which will be more than adequate...way more. As time allows, we'll be adding a few enhancements too. No need to log-in or sign-up for anything either. New Years Day 'Singles' Handicap Tournament

The University of Louisville's Bowling Program is holding their Holiday Classics tournament at Executive Strike & Spare. Squad times are 1:00pm, 3:00pm, 5:00pm, 7:00pm and 9:00pm. It's four games across eight lanes and the entry fee is $30.00. First place is $1,000.00 (based on 200 bowlers). One in eight entries will cash minimum. Handicap is 90% of 220. Youth bowlers are now eligible. Optional side pots. Squad jackpots and brackets will also be available.

Anyone who may have previous issue(s) of both the Men's and/or Women's average books, from any year produced, please contact us. We're compiling the information with what we already have to accurately post the most data possible.

Fern Valley Strike & Spare Holiday Classic *CANCELLED*

*THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED* Fern Valley Stike & Spare will be hosting their Holiday Classic Tournament on Saturday December 27th at 11:00am. Entry fee is $80.00 if paid prior to December 22nd, or $90.00 after. First place is $1,000.00 (based on 60 bowlers). For more information click on image to view larger pic, or contact:

UofL Bowling Website

The University of Louisville's Bowling Team now has their own website. Official launch was September, 2008. Jack McCarthy is the men's coach and Tony Byron is the women's. For more information please visit their webpage at www.UofLBowling.com.

 

Kentuckiana Mixed Tournament

The 16th Annual Kentuckiana Mixed Bowling Tournament will be hosted this year at the newly remodeled Fern Bowl in Fern Creek, KY. It's located at 5518 Bardstown Road. Tournament dates are the weekends of November 29-30 and Dec 6-7, 13-14. Squad times both Saturday's and Sunday's are 12:00 & 3:00pm. Fern Bowl will donate $0.50 from each linage fee towards the BVL Fund. Entries accepted daily 30 minutes prior to SCHEDULED squad starting times. Walk-ins limited to lane availability. Open to all USBC members.
The event is sponsored by: Ellis Badenhausen Orthopedics, PSC, and Sanders Builders.
**UPDATE** This tournament has been extended to include the weekends of Jan. 3-4 and 10-11. The squad times are at 1:00pm ONLY for each of the additional dates.

A new 'Bowler Profiles' page has been added which will host a picture of the bowler and their bio. When a news article, honor score, tournament result, etc., mentions a bowlers name, their name will be highlighted with a link to their personal 'bowler profile' page. There will be no charge for adding your picture or information. Simply send an email with the required info and a clear picture of yourself. (submit bio)
